Despite not being a Toyota developed turbo inline 6 the performance of the BMW B58 in undeniable. The B58 is potent for a stock powertrain but like its MK4 predecessor the 2JZ, it has some of the greatest tunning potential of any Toyota branded vehicle. Not to be overshadowed by the B58 the 4 cylinder B48 is a good pairing for the GR Supra as well. It may not be capable of the power figures of its B58 big brother but additional performance is available.
